On the 18th of July, 2020, a generator in the Northern part of Sierra Leone (Makeni) has caused serious tension between the government of Sierra Leone and the youth of Makeni( hometown of the former president, Ernest Bai Koroma).

Samuel Bockarie Kamara was arrested alongside hundreds of youths who were fighting to deny the government from moving the generator from Makeni to another part of the country. 

The Minister of Energy, Kanja Sesay said, the Ministry had earlier informed the stakeholders of the transfer of the generator.

Kamara, who led the protest said, no proper consultation was done before the action of the government.

He was arrested and taken to the Pandemba Road Maximum Prison. 

Samuel Bockarie Kamara, a student of the University of Makeni is the son of the Bombali District Chairman of the main opposition All People`s Congress. 

His dad has been blamed by the government for fomenting trouble against the government. 

According to our investigation, police loyal to the state had got this tip from sources within Makeni that Samuel Bockarie Kamara is the son of Abu Commoner Kamara, who is the Bombali District Chairman of the opposition APC. 

Our sources in the police confirmed that Samuel Bockarie Kamara was transferred to a place called Benghazi where he was seriously tortured by police loyal to the ruling Government. 

After being humiliated and tortured for days at the Police Militant base, three police officers who are sympathising with the opposition pitied Samuel asking him to leave but informed the public that it was a prison break.

According to the findings of this medium, One of the officers said, he was enlisted into the police force from Makeni and that Samuel`s dad recommended him. This, according to him, was the reason why he let him go.

The three officers ( undisclosed ) attached at the militant base of the police on that fateful night are under police custody as the search for Samuel is ongoing. 

Politicians loyal to the ruling government from Makeni has vouched to produce Samuel Bockarie Kamara dead or alive.
